Venezuela: Chavez Mania

Hugo Chavez was the president of Venezuela for 14 years. Chávez described his policies as anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist and called his socialist government a Bolivarian Revolution. He won another six-year presidential term on October 7, 2012 defeating opposition candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski by 11 points but died of cancer on March 5, 2013.
